FULL RULES
ReconstructionSetup
Each player begins with 3 marble pieces placed at the snake's tail (the outer edge of the spiral board). The board consists of a coiled serpent with spaces running from tail to head.
Turn Order
Players alternate turns. On your turn, throw the stick dice and move one of your pieces the number of spaces indicated.
Stick Dice
Three throwing sticks are used as dice. Each stick has one flat side and one rounded side. Count the number of flat sides facing up: 0 flat = 6 spaces, 1 flat = 1 space, 2 flat = 2 spaces, 3 flat = 3 spaces.
Movement
Pieces move inward along the spiral path toward the snake's head at the center. Multiple pieces from different players may occupy the same space.
Lion Pieces
Some game sets include shared lion pieces that either player can move. Lions travel the same path as marbles but have special attack abilities.
Lion Attack
When a lion lands on a space occupied by an opponent's marble, the lion 'eats' that marble, sending it back to the tail to start over. Lions cannot attack your own marbles.
The Journey
Once a piece reaches the snake's head (center), it must turn around and travel back outward to the tail. A piece must complete the full round trip: tail to head, then head back to tail.
Victory
The first player to return all their marble pieces to the tail after visiting the head wins the game. Pieces that complete the journey are removed from play.
VARIANTS

WITHOUT LIONS
A simpler version focused purely on the race. No lion pieces are used, making it a straightforward race game similar to other ancient track games. Best for learning the basic mechanics.

The full experience with lion pieces. Players can choose to move their marbles or the shared lions, adding a tactical layer of offense and defense. Matches the archaeological evidence of lion-shaped game pieces.
